In addition to providing excellent wellness, skin and body care services, we also strive to improve our world through philanthropy and acts of service. Since the founding of West Wind in 2001, this has been a fundamental part of our practice's mission. Your support of our practice allows us to support the causes we believe in. Thank you for enabling us to do so. We look forward to welcoming you to our practice's community and beginning our work together.
I give in time or earnings to several organizations. My favorite is Kiva.org-- perhaps the best use of the Internet ever invented. I also support the Electronic Frontier Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, KQED, Planned Parenthood, Slow Food USA and Friends of the San Francisco Public Library. Apotheca is committed to supporting our local and global communities. We get a huge number of requests for financial and in-kind support. As noted above, we do have some projects that we tend to favor. If you have a different organization you want Apotheca to consider supporting, please send your request via post. We won't respond to email or telephone requests. Only non-profit and not-for-profit organizations are considered for gifts, so please provide proof of your organization's status as such when you contact us.
